Tim Sayler

Tim Sayler Chief Marketing Officer, Audemars Piguet

Tim was born and raised in Munich, Germany. He first came to Switzerland to study business and economics at the University of St Gallen. He also attended HEC Paris and the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University. After his studies, he began his career at Procter & Gamble in Geneva in 1998. In 2004, he joined the P&G Prestige division, entering the world of luxury brands as Global Brand Manager for Hugo Boss fragrances. Subsequently, Tim was appointed Global Marketing Director, leading a portfolio of fragrance brands.

Tim joined Audemars Piguet as Chief Marketing Officer in June 2011. “I discovered the world of watchmaking when I came to Geneva” he remembers. At the head of a 50-strong team, Tim is responsible for all global brand, marketing and communication strategies, as well as the company heritage through the Audemars Piguet Museum. Since his arrival, he has initiated and led a major brand repositioning, establishing Audemars Piguet as a leading player in the industry.
